Terms of use
What are the terms for using this site?
By using this website or asking Cash For Junk Cars Junk My Car Inc for an offer, you agree to these terms. In short: the information here is general, our offers depend on the car being as you describe it, you must have the right to sell the car, and payment happens at pickup.
Information on this site
Our guides explain how junk car sales, titles and repairs generally work in Illinois and Indiana. They are not legal advice. Laws and agency rules change, so for your exact situation check with the Illinois Secretary of State, the Indiana BMV or a lawyer. We confirm paperwork for each sale on the phone.
Offers
- An offer is based on the details you give us: the year, make, model, condition, missing parts and papers.
- Our offers don't expire. Each one assumes the car matches the description you gave us, so tell us about anything major that's missing or broken, such as the engine or the catalytic converter.
- Towing is free. No towing charge is taken out of the offer.
- Payment is made at pickup by Zelle, Cash App, cash or another digital payment.
Your side of the sale
- You must own the car or be authorized to sell it, and provide the papers the state requires for a scrap sale.
- You're responsible for arranging access to the car, including permission at apartment lots, HOA lots and repair shops.
- Remove your license plates and personal belongings before the car is loaded.
Service area
We buy cars in the areas listed on our pickup map. We may decline a pickup outside those areas or where the papers don't meet state requirements.

Some pages link to government and other outside websites as sources. Those sites are run by others, and what they publish is their responsibility.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. Questions go to our contact page, and how we handle your details is in our privacy policy. Back to the home page.
