Towns we pick up from, and how far we go

Where can I get cash for junk cars near me?

If you're in Chicago, the Cook, DuPage or Will County suburbs, or Northwest Indiana as far as Gary, Cash For Junk Cars Junk My Car Inc will come to you. Our trucks start from Orland Hills, so the south and southwest suburbs are closest. Towing is free everywhere on this map, and you're paid at pickup.

Below are the 74 towns with their own page, grouped by the part of the map they sit in. Each page covers that town's roads, its parking and dead-car rules, and the towns next door. Don't see yours? If it's inside the area, we still come; send the address with the quote form at the bottom of this page.

Chicago

The city is part of our area too. The home page explains how we buy junk cars in Chicago and the south suburbs, including the city's abandoned-vehicle rule, which is a good reason not to leave a dead car on the street.

Papers on the Indiana side

Indiana papers work differently from Illinois. Every junk car sold to a recycler there needs the title (a BMV duplicate costs $15) or a BMV certificate of authority ($4), whatever its age, and only cars 15 model years or older can be sold with the certificate instead of a title. Buying a car under 15 model years with neither is a felony for the buyer, so we can't. Tell us what you have and we'll tell you on the call which route fits. The no-title guide has the details and sources.

Outside our pickup limits

We don't cover Porter or LaPorte County in Indiana (Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Michigan City, La Porte), or south Lake County (Crown Point, Schererville, Dyer, St. John, Cedar Lake, Lowell). Our old site had pages for some of those towns; they now point here so nobody is promised a pickup we can't make. If you're near the edge of our area, send the details and we'll give you a straight answer.
