Yes. Cash For Junk Cars Junk My Car Inc takes flooded and hydrolocked cars from any Midlothian street, the Natalie Creek corridor included, and the tow is free. A car that won't start or won't roll is fine, keys or no keys. You are paid at pickup, and same-day collection is often possible.

Four creeks and a lot of low ground
Midlothian sits on water that has nowhere quick to go. Four watercourses run through the village (the Cal-Sag Channel Tributary, Natalie Creek, Midlothian Creek and the Calumet Union Drainage Ditch), and all of them drain to the Cal-Sag Channel. The village’s 2019 Stormwater Management Capital Plan studied flood problem areas in Jolly Homes, the Belly Button Hill neighbourhood along 151st Street, Bremen Heights by Kenneth Avenue and the Natalie Creek corridor. It puts the cause down to channelised creeks and paved-over wetlands, so runoff pools in the low spots until the storm sewers recede.
For car owners, that means water damage shows up here. A car that sat in standing water can end up with a hydrolocked engine, soaked wiring and carpets that never dry out. Some of those cars are worth repairing and many aren’t. Our guide to hydrolocked engines helps you tell which you have, and if it’s the second kind, we tow it away free from wherever it stopped.
Two days, then the garage
Midlothian gives a car that doesn’t run very little time in the open. Under § 4-18-22(B)(7), an inoperable vehicle may not be parked or stored in a residential district for more than two days unless it is inside a garage or a fully enclosed structure, and never in a front, side or rear yard. Two days is not long. If the car won’t fit in the garage, ask for an offer the day it dies; we call back within 15 minutes, and the offer doesn’t expire if you need time to agree.
Commercial vehicles and trailers get their own limit: an hour at most in a residential district, and never on the public right-of-way there (§ 4-18-22(B)(1) and (3)).
Cicero, 147th Street and the Tri-State
Cicero Avenue (IL 50) is the main north-south road through the village, and 147th Street carries IL 83, sharing Cicero for a stretch. A section of the I-294 Tri-State Tollway lies inside village limits. Pulaski Road, Kedzie Avenue and Midlothian Turnpike are the other through routes. Village Hall at 148th Street and Pulaski Road and the Metra Rock Island station are the landmarks drivers know.
Night, snow and the alley
From 2:00 to 5:00 a.m., no car may stand on a village street for more than half an hour (§ 10-15-5). When snow on a street goes past 2 inches, parking stops there until removal is finished, and a car already at the curb has to be moved before the depth gets that far (§ 10-15-12). A car in an alley must leave 10 feet clear and keep off driveways (§ 10-15-6), which suits a flatbed loading from the side.
About 73.8% of homes are detached houses, so most pickups come off a driveway. For the 20.5% of homes in buildings of five or more units, square it with the manager and give us the space.
Neighbouring villages
Midlothian borders Crestwood and Robbins to the north, Posen to the east, and Markham and Oak Forest on the southern side. All of them are on the same south Cook route, which our county page maps out, and the service area list has the rest.
Year, make and model are enough to start an offer.

Can the dead car sit on the front lawn until it's collected?
No. Section 10-15-24 bars parking, stopping or standing on any lawn, grass or front-yard area unless the village has approved it for parking, and § 4-18-22(B)(7) keeps inoperable cars out of front, side and rear yards altogether. A standard paved driveway is fine for the wait, and that is where the driver would rather load from anyway.
There's a for-sale sign in the window. Can the car stay parked out front?
Midlothian doesn't allow it. Section 10-15-4 bans parking a vehicle with a for-sale sign anywhere in the village other than a licensed car lot. Take the sign down or move the car onto your drive. If you've already decided it's scrap, a free tow saves you waiting on buyers who may never ring.
What papers should I dig out before the pickup?
The title, ideally, which you sign over to us when the car is loaded. If it can't be found, tell us what is in the glovebox or the file drawer, such as a registration card, an insurance card or a bill of sale. We check on the phone whether Illinois rules let those papers support a scrap sale for your car before anyone books the truck.
